I cleared customs in Calgary without incident. It cost me only $20 extra to bring all my luggage and my bike. The flight was delayed 30 minutes for de-icing, but the rest of the day went off flawlessly. While the weather isn't exactly hot here in San Diego you won't hear me complaining.
I managed to get my bike together pretty easily. The only damage seems to be that the wires to the odometer have been severed. Maybe I'll have to look into upgrading rather than just replacing. As I took the bike out in the parking lot for a quick test drive I noticed these vehicles.
Looks like I'm in the right place!
