One More Sleep!

We had our orientation meeting this afternoon as well as a quick lesson on how to change a flat. Sure looks easy when Carol, one of our guides, does it. We now have a better understanding of how the routines of our next two months will unfold. We also have our sparkling white WomanTours jersey. It's really very nice but I can't imagine that it will make it home in the same pristine condition!

I'm really glad I had a few days to explore San Diego. It's a beautiful city and I just saw a fraction of what I would like to see. Seems like a return visit will be in order. Below are a few pictures of the sights I did get to. They are: (1) & (2) Hotel del Coronado and Coronado Beach on Coronado Island, (3) (4) & (5) San Diego Zoo - baby panda in a tree on the left and momma snoozing on the right in the first picture, (6) Pacific Ocean from Point Loma.

Can't wait to get on the bike tomorrow, although rain and cool temperatures are in the forecast :(
